The first trip to Florida!!!

Ike had to go on business to New Orleans for a week. So Me and Ben packed our bags and headed south. Ike's flight was only a half hour before ours so we were able to go to the airport together. Thank goodness Ike was able to help me through security for the first time. The flights were great Ben was fussy on both untill we started to taxi, but by the time we were in the air he was asleep. He slept for the first hour. On the flight down he just laid on my lap and smiled the whole second hour. On the way back to Columbus he took his botttle, which he rarely ever does and was quite content the rest of the way. I couldnt have asked him to do better. I wanted to get picks at the airport or on the airplane, but with all the crazy stuff that goes with flying and the responsibilty of a second person the picture didnt happen. I did get Ben his fisrt pair of wings though.

We are working on getting to sleep on his own with out be rocked or nursed. He is doing great. When we got home from the trip he slept 10 hours one night and 9 the next. But we have only had a 7 hour stretch since then. On most nights he sleep about 5..

For those who haven't had the great fourtune to visit Sebring we have a beautiful and unique state park. The "Hammock" is one of my fav places back home. Its just 4 miles from the house, so me and mom took Ben on a walk

Welcome spring! And Happy Easter!

We are going on our 3rd week back at our home in Ohio. Things are going great! Unpacking is going kinda slow, but Ben has settled into his new home, and it feels like we never left. Ben is growing like a weed and will be 7 weeks tomorrow. Ben has really started to find his voice and is cooing and vocalizing more each day. He makes my heart melt, and we love him more everyday.
