5 Months and busy... busy!!!!

I will start with the most recent and work my way back through the past month. On Monday of this week I took Ben to the doctor to get his second set of shots. When we were busy moving back to Ohio Ben's first shots were given late. They are normally given at 2,4, and 6 months but Ben is on a 3, 5, and 9 month schedule. The shots aside the visit went very well. Ben is such an easy going baby and doesn't put up to much of a fight during his exam. Except for the part when he has to go on his stomach. Despite my best intentions Ben does not like to be on his stomach!! That's to say the least. But we still battle tummy time everyday. The doctor assured me that it is no big deal but Ben would most likely never crawl. No surprises there!! Ben is now 27 1/2 inches long placing him in the 99% for babies his age. He weighs 18 1/2 lbs and all in all is the size of an average 8 month old. Again no surprise if you have seen this kid!!! We are really getting into the the solid foods so I put a list of to the side so you guys can see what new taste Ben is experiencing.

This past weekend Ben was Baptized at St. Patricks Church in Maysville Ky. It was a very nice morning and Ben did really well. No crying! We had a little excitement though during the ceremony but I wont go into any details about that. You are welcome Allison!

The week before we went to Florida and had a blast with Grammy and Papaw!! We took our must trip to the Hammock and our cook out at Howard and Colleen's.

For the most part though we hung at the house. We did go to Lake Placid and watch cousin Seth and the Sebring boys beat Jupiter! Then we stop by Lake June to see my friend Jennifer. Love going home!!! We stayed the night in Orlando on the 4Th and took Ben real swimming for the first time!! What a BLAST! It was so much fun for me. Ben did so good and stayed so relaxed... cant wait to take him again. We were also very lucky to meet up with G-G, Joan, and Jenn on their way to Sebring so we went to eat at Japanesse steak house.. but Ben was not to impressed and we had to leave the table when the cook made the volcano out of the onion. But we were so happy we were able to see everyone.
