Hello Food!!

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation– if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
1 Peter 2:2-3

Ben is 14 weeks this weeek! We decided to go ahead with the solid foods. Dr. recommends waiting till he turns 4 months, but he is just so big and hungry all the time we are introducing it to him a little early. He did really good and took it right away.

This is Ben's new toy "Sophie the Giraffe", well at least thats her real name. Trying to come up with a boy name for it. He loves it!

3 Months Old

We went to Maysville this past weekend, and had great weather on Saturday so we decided to take some pics. Ben is sporting his Jordan outfit that Uncle Jess got him, it makes him look like he ready for tonight's playoff game. But who cares about basketball when the Reds are in 1st!!!! Ben is starting to play with toys now. He is able to grab and take things from us now. Its is so much fun to watch him develop. Once he picks up something he just really takes off with it.

Ben is most happy when naked!
Go Reds!! Ben probably shouldn't but he already watches every reds game with Ike.

Ben is still loving the water and I wish the weather would straighting up here at our house so I can get him in the little pool I got. I cant wait to put him in his new swim trunks that uncle Andrew and Caroline got him!

12 Weeks Old!!

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
Psalms 127:3-5

Mother's Day At Ruby Tuesdays.

Ben went to the doctor on Monday for his late 2 month appointment, so it was more like his three month appointment. Everything went really well. I love his new pediatrician and the office is so nice. My friend Kelly recommended the office to me. Thanks Kelly! Ben is now 25 and half inches long and 15.5 lbs. The doctor says he is the size of an average 6 month old. Tell me about it!! In the pictures below he is in 9 month sleepers. His other clothes like shorts and onsies are still 6 month. He is so vocal now I swear he can carry on a conversation with you. Its all mumble jumble but you know he just trying to say something. So funny. He still hasn't found a love for the tummy time, but we are working hard to change that. He is also sleeping so good these days anywhere from 5 to 7 hours. His days in his bassinet are dwindling. I love taking pictures of him. It is to much fun. It makes me wonder what I ever took pictures of before. Sure want anything as cute as Ben.

This is new play gym mat. Too cute!

11 weeks!

Well Ben turned 11 weeks yesterday. We go to the docter on monday for a check up, so we find out how much he ways now. We have been working on on tummy time, but its not Ben favorite yet. Regardless his nech and upper body are getting stronger. It so funny to watch him go through phases, when some days he wants to be held a lot and others when he just wants to sit in bouncy chair for hours. He has figured out that when he kicks his feet his chair will respond by bouncing. He is also smiling all the time now even for strangers that talk to him. Those cool shades are from Andrew and Caroline. Thank you so much he is such a rock star now.
